The tightly braided UHMWPE/Polyester blended cover helps protect the 12 strand inner core and it this creates a firm round construction helping it withstand drum compression found in large winch situations.

The cover increases its abrasion resistance and also helps reduce heat build up found in high speed large winch applications.
